Associate Configuration Analyst
San Francisco Health Plan
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Health Services Product Management, the Associate Configuration Analyst is responsible for application configuration to include project planning, execution, and implementation of changes to our Care Management Software Application (Jiva), on small projects and tickets. In addition, they are responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and efficient configuration to Jiva.
The Health Services Product Management (HSPM) team values collaboration and teamwork, as the team works closely with other areas, from clinical staff to our IT department. Projects can range from technology-enabled solutions, training projects, or projects focusing on the collaborative operations of Health Services programs to improve processes.
Salary: $79,000 - $90,000/annually
Please note that while SFHP supports a hybrid work environment, this role will be required to be onsite and in-office a minimum of 4 days per month.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Perform implementation and configuration activities including prototyping, analysis, system configuration, operational implementation and process documentation on small projects and tickets.
- Partner with Senior or other Configuration Analysts on complex changes.
- Work cross-functionally to deliver system functionality to support streamlined and efficient processes.
- Work in conjunction with UAT and end-users as needed to develop and execute appropriate test plan to verify configuration changes work as intended.
- Adhere to SFHP’s Change Management/Release Management Policies and Procedures such as submitting appropriate change requests or submitting change requests timely.
- Develop and recommend operational processes and /or process improvements.
- Document functional specifications for system solutions and enhancements to existing business systems.
- Communicate results through written documents and maintain configuration database.
- Perform other related duties and special projects, as assigned.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING:
- A Bachelor’s degree (e. g., BS), which may be substituted with equivalent work experience
- At least one year of experience as a Business Systems Analyst and/or Configuration Analyst
- Prior experience at a healthcare organization
- Prior testing experience and configuration on care management software
- PC literacy; MSOffice skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Sharepoint
