San Francisco Health Plan (SFHP) is looking for an Associate Program Manager, Quality Data Analytics. Reporting to the Manager of Quality Data Analytics, you will be responsible for supporting the overall planning, execution, and implementation of programs and projects. You will strategize, implement, maintain, and support program initiatives, systems, and data sets impacting SFHP’s Quality Improvement programs. The programs and projects affect the Health Services Department. You will be responsible for supporting SFHP’s annual HEDIS Audits including managing scheduling, audit deliverables and follow-ups.

Salary Range: $72,229.00 to $81,258.00 annual

Please note that while SFHP supports a hybrid work environment, this role will be required to be onsite and in-office a minimum of 4 days per month.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Program and Project Management
    • Provide leadership support for programs and projects from initiation to closure, including leading multi-disciplinary project teams.
    • Provide support for annual SFHP HEDIS Audits including roadmap completion and audit deliverables and follow-ups.
    • Ensure that all project work is measurable, impactful, and consistent with organizational goals and objectives and maximizes operational efficiencies.
    • Effectively interface with project sponsors and stakeholders to achieve mutually agreeable deliverables, timeframes, resources, and outcomes.
    • Identify, analyze, and improve existing program processes to enhance outcomes.
    • Effectively develop, communicate, and monitor project work plans and timelines.
    • Identify key requirements needed from cross-functional teams and external vendors.
    • Plan and manage meetings associated with project deliverables. Maintain meeting minutes and project decisions, action items, timelines, and issues/risk logs.
    • Create and maintain all project documents within formal document repositories.
    • Effectively manage several projects simultaneously.
    • Support, maintenance and execution of program roadmaps and priorities.
    • Have a good understanding of interfaces, exchanges and data sets relevant to the systems in a health plan.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve unusual system behaviors, including determining the root cause and solution. Appropriately communicate with affected parties and determine issues to be escalated.
    • Manage and perform testing, including planning, creating test scripts, and managing end user testing, in support of timely, quality project implementation.
    • Meet external compliance requirements.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting
    • Analyze data to improve system performance and user workflow.
    • Support users with using data to prioritize new workflows.
    • Evaluate the business need of requested reports to guide business users to the most appropriate data and provides the necessary analysis of the data.
    • Ensure the integrity of data being reported and utilized is accurate and valid.
  • Vendor Management
    • Collaborate with leadership to effectively manage external vendors.
    • Serve as primary point of contact for external vendors including managing recurring meetings and developing relationships.
    • Act as a product subject matter expert for contract execution.
    • Manage escalation and issue resolution with external vendors.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, MIS, Public Health, or other similar fields; or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 1 year of experience managing programs or projects in a managed healthcare environment.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with HEDIS and Quality Improvement.
  • Proven success in project implementation, process improvement and/or process redesign.
  • Expertise in HEDIS and Quality Improvement program or project management in a managed health care environment.
  • Expertise with HEDIS and Quality Improvement applications. Familiarity with Cotiviti’s Quality Reporter a plus.
  • Understanding SDLC for management projects with technology-enabled solutions.
  • Familiarity with process design and documentation methodologies.
  • Understanding of information systems, formal business process improvement, and the key drivers and/or measures of success for the healthcare industry, particularly in managed care and State-sponsored programs.
