THE OPPORTUNITY

The Center for Justice Innovation is seeking an Enterprise Application Analyst that will be reporting to the Manager, Software Engineer. The Enterprise Application Analyst will develop, maintain, and support custom application-based solutions and case management systems that will meet organizational needs while adhering to software development, data, and security best practices.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Develop fit-for purpose application-based solutions in support of the organization’s case management systems and its service providers/practitioners. Ensure that development work adheres to and supports departmental best practices and standards. This includes working proactively to find and remediate programming bugs and other software or related data or security issues prior to release.
  • Provide associated support for organization’s case management systems and custom-built applications and reporting functionality and features. Perform related and/or assigned maintenance responsibilities to ensure that the above is functioning as intended.
  • Collaborate closely with quality assurance personnel to remediate noted software, design, functionality, UI/UX related issues, functionality concerns, and errors as required.
  • Collaborate closely with project and product management personnel to understand business requirements and develop applications and solutions in a timely manner that are aligned with determined objectives, priorities and timelines. Ensure that relevant stakeholders are kept informed as to the progress of solutions development and on other associated or assigned responsibilities, efforts, tasks and work items.
  • Work with the Data Analytics and Applied Research team to understand the data definitions and standards; create entity relationships that explains the relationships between data and consider best practice solutions to capture information and report on data.
  • Provide support and assistance to critical, data-related efforts such as data migration, cleanup and transformation projects and initiatives. Assist with other assigned tasks as required by management.
Qualifications: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or information technology and analytics. Minimum 2 years of experience as Data Analyst, Salesforce Administrator, or similar occupation. Strong understanding of case management applications and associated business needs. Demonstrated ability to perform the solutioning work required to translate business requirements into successfully delivered application features, improvements and fixes. Strong knowledge of different technologies and solutions platforms, including Salesforce and/or other CRM and database products. Strong knowledge of data and application development lifecycle methodologies. Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve application problems and data issues, and to analyze and disseminate information with attention to details. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to clearly communicate detailed and complex concepts and specifics. Strong organizational and documentation skills.

Compensation: The compensation range for this position is $103,210 - $112,000 and is commensurate with experience.
