LOCATION: Flexible (anywhere in the U.S.)
THE ROLE
As the Temp - Coordinator, Data & Technology Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting initiatives that drive impactful national/virtual recruitment, university partnerships, event planning, and data management. You will leverage your strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills to help ensure the smooth execution of key projects.
You will be responsible for managing critical data updates, performing data analysis to draw trends from recruitment data, assisting with research to explore opportunities for university partnerships, and supporting event planning and execution strategies. Working closely with the Recruitment Enablement Marketing and Innovation team (REMI), you will create and analyze reports, coordinate logistics for events, and ensure data quality across systems. The ideal candidate will have experience with Dynamics 365.
This is a temporary, part time role, working 20 hours per week, starting in June 2026.

THE PERSON
The Temp - Coordinator, Data & Technology Support Specialist will be responsible for:
Data Reporting and Management (50% of time)
Conduct strategic data gathering and management in Salesforce, Dynamics 365, and PowerBI to ensure clear and accurate data to inform recruitment efforts
Maintain and update various reports and dashboards in Salesforce, Dynamics 365, and PowerBI, providing critical insights and tracking performance metrics.
Handle large-scale data uploads related to faculty/staff sourcing and event scrubbing using Salesforce, Dynamics 365, and PowerBI.
Assist with the collection and organization of key data, ensuring it is accurate and up-to-date.
Draw conclusions from data, and make strategic recommendations where appropriate.
Make recommendations for strong data governance and stewardship, including regular maintenance of data quality.
University Partnerships Support (10% of the time)
Conduct research on opportunities for paid media and employer sponsorships.
Help identify potential locations for testing small-scale conferences.
Assist with document preparation for meetings.
Events Support (10% of the time)
Work directly with the events team to plan and execute events of varying scale for leads and prospects of Teach For America.
Serve as a consultant on events to ensure prospects receive a consistent, compelling, and personalized brand experience
Consult on and leverage appropriate strategies for driving event attendance
Support recruiters in incorporating and leveraging horizontal event strategies that will meet broader recruitment campaign needs (influencers, amplification, word of mouth)
Ensure recruitment events follow national brand standards in all event programming and marketing content
Special Projects (30% of time)
Take on special projects for the REMI Team and MD, Innovation Analytics and Technology as needed, including, but not limited to, supporting pilot projects to increase recruitment outcomes and inform future strategy.
THE MUST HAVES
Work Demands
Must be available to work 20 hours per week on a consistent basis
The role will include digital (virtual) work, must have access to a computer and reliable internet source
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Prior experience in data management or event planning is highly desirable.
Excellent data analysis skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, macros, and the ability to independently devise formulas necessary for report and trend analysis.
Strong written communication skills for report writing and documenting processes.
Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively across various responsibilities.
Basic understanding of marketing tools (UTMs, SMS campaigns).
Research and problem-solving capabilities, especially within higher education and partnerships (preferred).
Experience with Canva for basic design support (preferred).
Approaches work with a mindset of innovation and creativity
Record of achievement in academics, leadership, and/or employment
Comfort with working in areas of ambiguity with a high level of initiative and personal responsibility
Detail-oriented and results-driven
Strong relationship builder who is able to build rapport quickly and drive action with a diverse group of individuals
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Requirements
Experience working with CRM Data and Microsoft Office is essential. In particular, a strong understanding of reporting is necessary to be successful in this role.
