WHAT YOU'LL DO
The Coordinator, Program Operations will play a crucial role in the behind-the-scenes logistics of our Greater Chicago-Northwest Indiana corps program and school partnerships work. The ideal candidate has a knack for operations, including building and managing tracking systems, updating and maintaining data, coordinating schedules and invoicing processes. This person will also be a voice of Teach For America, sharing important information to corps members and school partners with clear written and verbal communication skills. Ultimately, this role has the opportunity to impact our corps member and school partner relationship with our organization.
This is a part time role. We expect this person will work between 10-15 hours a week between October and March and 20 hours a week between April and September. This role is a temporary position through September 2025, with the potential for extension.
WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
Corps Hiring and School Partner Logistics:
● Coordinating interviews between our corps members and school partners, including collecting and tracking interview availability and needs, matching candidates to opportunities, and communicating next steps and instructions
● Building and managing our knowledge bank about our school partners, including collecting school leader information, school profiles, and school needs so that we can make decisions to support our strategy and keep our data accurate. This includes updating Salesforce
● Supporting logistics for any in person school partner or school visit events, including but not limited to securing space, ordering food, and executing day of operations
● Invoicing partners for service fees and tracking communication and payment
Corps Operations:
● Ensuring our corps member data is updated and accurate in our systems of record, including Salesforce
● Editing content for our corps member monthly newsletters
● Ordering corps member supplies or gifts as needed by our Managing Directors, Leadership Development
YOUR EXPERIENCE
Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role (minimum qualifications):
● Demonstrated attention to detail and anticipation of needs.
● Fluency and confidence with Microsoft Outlook and Excel, Google suite, and Salesforce
● Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to convey complex instructions clearly
● Strong follow-through skills
● Able to organize, prioritize, track and manage workflow and resources across evolving responsibilities.
● Displays and models a learning orientation, including around one’s own personal identity. Open to ambiguity, adaptability, risk taking, and learning from failure in a constantly evolving context.
YOUR COMPENSATION
The applicable salary range for each U.S.-based role is based on where the employee works and is aligned to one of 3 tiers according to a cost of labor index in that geographic area. Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected salary ranges for this role are set forth below. These ranges may be modified in the future.
A: $23.32
B: $25.44
C: $27.50
