THE ROLE
Position Summary
As Manager, Strategy & Integration you help ensure that Teach For America is efficiently, thoughtfully & strategically cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding our organization’s most generous funders through providing strategic support & leadership for essential operations, communications, and team culture/DEI efforts. You will leverage your strong abilities to proactively problem-solve and navigate complexity by supporting a large and highly influential team that is charged with raising funds from high net worth individuals, managing our national board and collaborating across the organization for high-stakes projects.
Reporting to the MD, Strategy and Integration, you will also directly support special high-stakes projects upon assignment from the SVP, Central Fundraising, you will ensure our team is operating at its highest capacity as a result of strong systems, operations and communications. Further, you will support key fundraising efforts--including donor campaigns & communications, event strategy, and key initiatives. Finally, you will be a leader in team culture and diversity, equity and inclusivity, partnering with the MD, Strategy & Integration and the SVP, Central Fundraising to drive this work forward across the team

THE TEAM
The National Development team builds and strengthens Teach For America’s philanthropic partnerships. Our team inspires donors to invest in the future of our country by investing in TFA’s work with students nationally and regionally. We help educate staff in the knowledge and practices of fundraisers. Our team is responsible for ensuring that our fundraising infrastructure supports and sustains TFA’s ambitious short- and long-term mission. Within National Development, the Central Fundraising team is catalytic in growing the number of individuals investing in Teach For America and developing diverse champions for our mission in order to maximize the financial and broader contributions to regional and national work.
THE ROLE
This role will function supporting the Central Fundraising Team and lifting/scaling tools, systems, resources, across the broader Development team. Differentiated responsibilities are noted within.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Team and Cross-Team Operations & Strategy (70%)
Build & maintain strong, functional operational tools and systems for the team (e.g., donor data, strategic planning tools and reports, dashboards)
Track and regularly assess team-wide data & progress to goals (both revenue and non-revenue), as well as donor retention and acquisition data

Through project management, data & systems management, and execution, support the Strategy & Integration team to execute vision & plans on strategic projects such as (but not limited to)
Fundraising strategy & cross-team coordination with events (FY25 Positioning Campaign)
Key funding campaigns for use across the Development team
Implement annual strategic planning process
Building tools
Support cross-functional partnerships outside of CF (OCEO, EA, DevOps, Rev, etc.)
Support the MD, SI to maximize SVP, CF’s time advising on strategic priorities and managing workflow across the team
Partner on content development for team engagements and lead on logistics
Team Culture & Communications (30%)
Partner on the content and lead on logistics for Central Fundraising meetings & engagements including developing the agendas, decks, & materials
Support MD, SI and SVP, CF in implementing cross-team cultural priorities, learning agendas and professional development with a prioritized focus on our commitment to DEI; advise on elements that can & should be scaled to the entire Development team and partner to execute that implementation.
Support in onboarding incoming team members, designing and supporting onboarding plans in collaboration with SVP, CF.
Lead and support projects as identified by Central Fundraising as needed related to strategic priorities.
Skills:
Experience managing up to senior leaders; supporting others in managing to priorities
Flexibility in outlook and ability to pivot quickly
Record of achieving ambitious goals and creating effective systems to manage multiple projects
Strong facility with Excel/Google Sheets, PowerPoint/Google Slides, Canva, and/or other graphic design tools preferred
Familiarity with Salesforce a plus
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Sense of personal responsibility for outcomes and ability to manage up
Ability to effectively prioritize tasks, demonstrate good judgment, and make timely decisions
Ability to think critically with a high level of organization, attention to detail and energy
Ability to work efficiently and with accuracy in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with a spirit of flexibility, sense of possibility
Ability to anticipate the needs of others and collaborate across functions to resolve unexpected challenges
Strong team orientation and ability to build relationships with teams across the organization as well as all individuals within the Development team

Demonstrated ability to anticipate the needs of others, identify opportunities for improving systems and processes and resolve unexpected challenges
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
3-5 years of professional experience--specifically in operational leadership and project management preferred.
At least two years experience in Development/Fundraising work
A Bachelor’s degree is great to have, but we are more interested in your total experience and achievements throughout your professional career.

YOUR COMPENSATION
The applicable salary range for each U.S.-based role is based on where the employee works and is aligned to one of 3 tiers according to a cost of labor index in that geographic area. Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected starting salary ranges for this role are set forth below. These ranges may be modified in the future.
Tier A: $61,300 - $82,000
Tier B: $66,800 - $89,400
Tier C: $72,300 - $96,800
