ROLE TITLE: Associate, Regional Operations (Temp)

POSITION REPORTS TO: Allie Stites - Managing Director, Talent & Operations

WHAT YOU’LL DO

The Associate, Regional Operations will implement existing strategies & innovate to create new systems to support the resources, information, and communications related to logistics and operations in Oklahoma City. We are looking for someone who enjoys & believes organization, logistics, and behind-the-scenes work is crucial to a strong foundation to support our network of educators & staff. The ideal candidate will be passionate for the job with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, make progress independently yet elevate challenges as needed, and have strong attention to detail. The goal is to enhance operations for the region, at our office, and for our regional events.

WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Office operations support

  • Organization, stocking & inventory of office supplies in the Oklahoma City office

  • Creating/maintaining efficient and effective systems to support office operations

  • Project management support for office improvements

Supporting with regional operations & logistics for in person, virtual, or hybrid events

  • Ordering catering/supplies/materials/gifts

  • Support with booking travel when needed

  • Drafting logistics memos

  • Day of on site operational support as needed

Administrative support for region

  • Providing logistical support & communication in scheduling meetings/events

  • Communication with internal & external stakeholders

  • Ensuring information and data is up to date and accurate for regional systems

  • Maintaining & organizing digital file storage platforms

A WEEK IN THE LIFE

Over the course of any week, the Associate, Regional Operations will spend 8-10 hours:

  • Inventorying office supplies & re-ordering as needed

  • Organizing materials at the office

  • Troubleshooting technical issues with office equipment

  • Updating logistics memos for regional events

  • Sourcing and ordering catering for programming

  • Updating internal documents with the latest data

YOUR EXPERIENCE

Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role (minimum qualifications):

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule from the Oklahoma City office between the hours of 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday

  • Office administrative duties, including managing inventory, lifting and transporting up to 30lbs and stocking shelves

  • Regularly troubleshoot and repair software and hardware problems for staff on-site during business hours

  • Attention to detail, strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks, simultaneously

  • Flexibility in working across multiple projects, functional teams, and timelines

  • Strong written communication skills

  • Ability to manage up as challenges arise

  • Education: Bachelors or Associates Degree OR 2 years of related work experience

BONUS (preferred qualifications)

  • Ability to travel (locally & to Tulsa) as needed for regional events, which may include evenings and weekends

The Associate, Regional Operations role will sit on our Organizational Stability team, which provides the foundation for our region’s work. The organizational stability team’s goals encompass communications, finance, talent, operations, strategy & data and center on creating systems to support our team to do their best work, and this role would play a key part in operationalizing & maintaining those existing systems.

YOUR COMPENSATION

Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected salary range for this role is $15.00-18.99 an hour.
