Social innovation consultancy looks for communications intern
Founded in 2010, LeFil Consulting (www.lefilconsulting.com) is an impact-driven social innovation consultancy specializing in the identification, design, growth and replication of innovations that create social and economic value, sustainably and at scale. We work for and with start-ups, social enterprises, large corporations, donors and NGOs, as well as governments and their constituencies, and have expertise across a broad range of sectors and geographies.
We are looking for a communication intern, available for 4-6 months at 50-70% of his/her time, beginning in November 2026. The intern would be in charge of managing LeFil’s communications efforts, as well as the dissemination of knowledge products (e.g. findings about innovative solutions to bring healthcare to the underserved, the power of gender as a performance lever, etc.), stories of social entrepreneurs and case studies. This assignment will get you acquainted with exciting topics, while working towards making them better known and ultimately supported.
Candidates should:
– be fluent in English and Spanish (in particularly written)
– have a strong appetite to put the best of his/her abilities and energy to creating positive social impact and inclusiveness
– have experience in communication, graphic design and/or journalism, including telling stories, writing articles and blogs, sharing news, creating and editing written, visual and video content, and using social media and other mass channels
– be proficient in the use of paid ads on social media channels, as well as in software relevant for graphic design (e.g. Canva).
LeFil is run with a start-up mindset: dynamic, agile, driven by initiative and enterprise. Applicants should enjoy working in small teams, with lots of independence and responsibility, with all the advantages (and disadvantages) that this entails.
Most of us are based in Zurich (Switzerland), but we welcome remote applicants, as long as the time difference is within ±4 hours of CET. We do not sponsor (temporary) work permits nor relocation. The internship will be compensated, albeit modestly. Of note, we do not envision that this role will transition to a full-time role.
If you wish to explore this opportunity, please send the below documents to recruitment@lefilconsulting.com no later than 16 September 2026:
· CV (do NOT include a picture on your CV)
· Cover letter, describing your communications work, technical skills, starting date, proposed work-location, as well as time availability.
Applications will be reviewed on an ongoing basis, but we will only reach out to pre-selected candidates at regular intervals. Incomplete applications will be discarded.
We look forward to hearing from you!
