We believe that storytelling can inspire meaningful action, and we are seeking a Marketing Communications Manager (aka, our Network Storyteller!) to help us tell ours.

As our Network Storyteller, you will be our storyteller and brand champion for Pollinate Impact. Your primary goal will be to craft and disseminate compelling narratives that articulate our vision and values, showcase our work, and mobilise diverse stakeholders to engage with our network.

You will be instrumental in amplifying our network’s voice and member successes to affect our mission of industry transformation. This role requires a unique blend of creativity, detail-oriented thinking, strategic thinking, and a passion for our mission, while being a digitally savvy communicator who can own the end-to-end execution of our communications activities. You will lead our communications efforts across all platforms, ensuring that every piece of content and every campaign reflects our core values and advances our mission.

You will manage our marketing resident(s), take ownership of orchestrating our voice, ensure all messaging aligns with our brand objectives, coordinate closely with our advisor, and work collaboratively across the organisation to create a unified and powerful communications strategy.

The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in a marketing role, preferably in the social impact, development, or start-up entrepreneurship ecosystem – this is a must for us! – and you’re a firm believer in the power of impact entrepreneurship to address the world’s most complex challenges.

You must be an exceptional writer and editor, capable of crafting everything from persuasive messaging for a programme to informative blog posts and engaging social media updates. Experience managing multi-channel campaigns and a strong understanding of digital marketing tools and analytics are required. You should be a collaborative leader who works effectively with colleagues from diverse backgrounds and regions of the Global South.

We’re looking for someone comfortable working full-time in a remote role, preferably based in sub-Saharan Africa, South Asia, or Southeast Asia. Our team is scattered across the globe, so being flexible about meeting outside a 9-5 schedule is important, since our opportunities to connect as a team are limited due to the spread of time zones.

If working on a small, global team with a big vision excites you, you’re adaptable and eager to evolve based on fresh knowledge and insights, your flexibility shines as you willingly step in to support the team whenever necessary, maximizing your contribution, and you are a natural storyteller with a strategic mind and a heart to help cultivate a robust entrepreneurship ecosystem by backing incubators in the Global South, we would be honored to receive your application.
