Salary: $94,554 $136,063 per year

Position Description

The Talent and Culture Program Manager will help us continue to make Skoll a great place to work. This person will also be accountable for payroll management, compliance, and help support culture building and diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (DEI-B) programs. A critical focus of the role will be responsible for driving human resources staff communications across Skoll, in collaboration with external communications / marketing team, and other key stakeholders to ensure that our staff are kept informed, their feedback is heard and that we continue to improve their work life.

Talent Engagement & Culture:

  • Own, manage, and facilitate Skoll’s all staff meetings (monthly & quarterly), feedback sessions and focus groups; includes evaluation of sessions and report out.
  • Support CPO on workforce planning, job design, performance management, compensation management, succession planning
  • Work with the CPO on the annual staff engagement survey process.
  • Plan, edit and write content for a variety of internal communications mediums, such as a staff intranet, email, and internal messaging platforms.
  • Design and build out the intranet (SharePoint), and establish content management protocols and schedule – maintain the Talent and Culture page.
  • Project manage and serve as primary communicator for employee resource group program, heritage celebrations, and drive other DEI-B activities.
  • Onboarding and Offboarding of staff, including exit interviews.
  • Assist with recruiting when needed, including sourcing, phone screen, developing interview guides, offer & accept process.
  • Work collaboratively with Talent and Culture team on all initiatives

 

Payroll and Policy Administration

  • Payroll administration: management, review, submission, troubleshoot; ADP TotalSource or PEO experience required.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of policies and procedures, including practice guides.
  • Performs employee payroll (all cycles of payroll) and benefits administration (includes managing open enrollment)
  • Complies and runs reports from HRIS. Manage systems to track and report important HR information.
  • Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment, including compliance with required training; working with outsourced employee relations attorney/partner
  • Working with IT and other teams, develop an emergency communications system and protocols.

 

Experience and Skills

  • Payroll Administration & HRIS management – ADP TotalSource a plus
  • SHRM or HRCI certification desired; senior status a plus
  • Outstanding project management skills and accountability
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), including polished editing skills and the ability to develop effective presentations.
  • Experience utilizing blogging and website content management system such as WordPress, SharePoint, Igloo Software, etc.
  • Solid experience with internal communications is desired.
  • Exceptional MS Office skills in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Captivate a plus.
  • Ability to juggle multiple deadlines and stakeholder requests.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, maturity, and sound judgment. A team player and a creative thinker, able to work independently to meet objectives and to collaborate effectively with leadership, staff and external stakeholders.

 

Salary Description

Offers are based on the candidate’s years of experience and the Foundation’s practice of upholding salary equity within the Foundation. The base salary range for this position is between $94,554 and $136,063 per year. The salary range will vary for candidates outside the Foundation’s primary office in Palo Alto, California.
