PSI seeks an Associate, Total Rewards that will support the administration, education, and promotion of the Total Rewards programs for HealthX Partners (HXP) and its subsidiaries including PSI, EGPAF, and Viya Health. This role reports to the Head of Total Rewards and is part of the People & Culture Team.

What You'll Do

  • Works closely with the Head of Total Rewards and the Senior Associate, Total Rewards to administer employee benefits programs, including but not limited to group health and COBRA, spending accounts, disability, group life insurance, voluntary benefits, retirement, wellness, and leave. Monitor and respond to the Benefits email inbox and deliver benefits orientation. Inform and guide employees on benefits matters regarding enrollment, eligibility, coverage, claims and provisions.

  • Coordinate with third-party administrators and carrier representatives to resolve administrative problems, correct vendor interface files (FMLA portal, Retirement platforms, TPA Portal, etc.), compile and maintain benefit & compensation data, review and providing appropriate documentation related to payroll and audits in the areas of Benefits, Compensation, and HRIS. Provide moderate financial management support by processing, auditing, reconciling monthly Total Rewards' invoices.

  • Support knowledge management activities which include compiling, maintaining, updating and or innovating Benefits, Compensation, and HRIS documentation & processes (e.g. SOPs, Job Profile Template, TOP template, etc.), coordinating and facilitating employee training and information sessions, enhancing the communication platforms (SharePoint, Forms, etc.), and drafting and sending organization-wide communications and required employee notices.

  • Assists with ad hoc event planning and execution, data cleanup & uploads, reporting, allowance support (Terms of Post), People & Culture surge support, and other duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree (or international equivalent) in a related field

  • At least 3 years of related experience. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted.

  • Working knowledge of Total Rewards (Benefits, Compensation, and HRIS) trends and regulations and/or other HR disciplines (Engagement, Performance Management, etc.).

  • Excellent analytical and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills. Able to synthesize data and visualize the insights in a way that non-HR professionals can quickly understand. Able to use analytical skills to proactively identify departmental & employee needs.

  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills with keen attention to detail and timeliness. Able to multi-task and meet deadlines in ambiguous and rapidly changing environments.

  • Excellent customer service, verbal, and written communication skills.

Salary Ranges:*


PSI is committed to pay equity and transparency. We ensure pay meets the market within each country. This approach minimizes our impact on local talent markets and allows PSI to attract and retain employees, while staying cost-competitive.

Actual base salary compensation will be determined by factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, experience, internal equity, external market analysis, and other business factors permitted by law. Hiring above the mid-point of the range below would not be typical in order to allow for potential future salary growth.

PSI is offering the following gross annual salary ranges for this position, dependent on candidate location:

  • For the United States (paid in USD): $60,000 (minimum) - $71,000 (midpoint) - $82,000 (maximum)
  • For Kenya (paid in Ksh or USD, to be determined at hire):
    • Ksh 2,100,000 (minimum) - Ksh 3,500,000 (midpoint) - Ksh 4,550,000 (maximum)
    • USD $19,000 (minimum) – $27,000 (midpoint) -$35,000 (maximum)
