PhD position focused on Electrocatalysis
100%, Zurich, fixed-term
Our group explores how electrolyte environments influence reaction kinetics and product selectivity in the electrochemical CO2 reduction reaction (CO2RR) and related electrocatalytic processes. We place a strong emphasis on mechanistic insights and employ advanced, in-situ characterization techniques (e.g., FTIR, Raman, DEMS, EQCM, GC) coupled with the detailed electrochemical studies. We are seeking a PhD researcher to contribute and grow within these efforts.
You will join a collaborative, inclusive, and intellectually stimulating environment that values scientific creativity and curiosity. This is a full-time position, tentatively starting on February 1st 2026, or later.
