Join the Sustainability in Business Lab (sus.lab) at ETH Zurich for a 6-month paid internship and contribute to projects that advance a net-zero and circular economy. Sus.lab is part of the Group for Sustainability and Technology (SusTec) at ETH Zurich. As a “think-and-do-tank,” we work with industry, policymakers, and academia on topics such as carbon dioxide removal, circular economy, and maritime shipping.
Job description
- Support project leads in delivering first-of-a-kind results for ongoing industry projects
- Work independently on assigned tasks in close collaboration with the project team
- Dive into new technologies and handle analytical, organizational, and communication-related tasks
Profile
- You are available for 6 months, starting in January or February 2026 (latest start: March)
- You are based in Zurich, Switzerland during the time of the internship (remote work is not possible for legal reasons)
- You have at least completed your Bachelor’s degree
- You are at the beginning of your career (e.g., you have recently completed your degree, or have one or two internship experiences)
- Important for citizens of a country outside Switzerland and the EU/EFTA: you may only apply if you are currently enrolled as a student and required to complete a compulsory internship as part of your Master’s studies
- You have excellent written and spoken English skills (C1); German is an advantage but not required
- You have strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills
- You are accustomed to learning about new technologies and delving into technical details
