Basic Job Function

The VP, Investor Relations and Capital Catalyst (VP, IRCC) is an executive role with three main priorities: in alignment with CCAEO, leading investor relations, sourcing capitalization and funding, and highly effective collaboration with the CFO, CEO, and business leads on capital strategies and execution, IRCC is responsible for all aspects and strategies associated with accelerating the aligned flow of capital between new and existing investors into IFF in a manner consistent with capitalization strategies, investor requirements, and deployment targets to meet the expanding needs of customers. The position will be based in one of IFF’s offices and will include geographic coverage across IFF’s full footprint, as well as the requirement to build national networks to expand IFF's capital base. In close partnership with the CCAEO and CFO, and in coordination with the CEO, the VP, IRCC, will oversee the development and execution of investor engagement and capital-raising strategies, manage investor relationships, and ensure IFF has the financial resources to meet its objectives in alignment with the financial forecast and mission. The VP, IRCC, operates at the supply-side interface of IFF’s enterprise capital system, coupling enterprise capital strategies with investor strategies, vehicles, and capital commitment between the supply and demand of capital to make markets more efficient by connecting stakeholders in the marketplace to the pipeline of projects cultivated by IFF. The individual will cultivate a network of investors across the capital continuum, understand their requirements, structure investment vehicles as necessary to optimally utilize that capital, and leverage IFF’s knowledge and skillsets to make projects happen. The VP, IRCC, has a dotted-line reporting relationship to the CFO for financial governance and compliance and will work closely with the Chief Regional Markets Officer (CRMO).
