Job Summary:

Provides system-level support of multi-user operating systems, hardware and software tools, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of Intune, Microsoft 365, and Entra ID. Analyzes user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations. Identifies alternatives for optimizing computer resources.

Accountabilities:

  • Configures and supports Microsoft Intune as the primary endpoint management platform — including device enrollment, configuration profiles, application deployment, update rings, and compliance policies.
  • Partners with business teams and end users to identify pain points, gather requirements, and deliver Microsoft 365 based solutions that improve productivity, collaboration, and information quality across Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Copilot.
  • Supports identity and access management activities in Microsoft Entra ID, including account provisioning, group membership, Conditional Access policies, and multi-factor authentication aligned to security standards.
  • Develop PowerShell scripts and automation routines to scale and improve reliability, and reduce manual effort across Intune device management.
  • Responds to requests for new domain accounts and security changes to ensure accounts are deleted, locked or archived as necessary.
  • Works with team members to advice on appropriate hardware and software needs and evaluate computer vendors.
  • Maintains confidentiality about the information being processed, stored or accessed by the network.
  • Documents system problems and resolutions for future reference.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Applied Knowledge & Skills:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Intune for endpoint management, including device enrollment, configuration profiles, application deployment, compliance policies, and update management across Windows, iOS, Android, and macOS.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 collaboration services (Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive) and the ability to support secure, user-friendly configurations.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID and modern identity concepts, including Conditional Access, multi-factor authentication, and device compliance.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Copilot and AI-assisted productivity tools, including readiness, adoption, and supporting end-user enablement.
  • Scripting and automation skills using PowerShell to support administration, reporting, and routine task automation.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated problem solving and organizational skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify errors and provide solutions.
  • Ability to work well with others and independently.

  • Works on problems of moderate scope that quire analysis and review of identifiable factors.
  • Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine methods and techniques to obtain results.
  • Decisions may affect the management and operations of an area within a department.
  • Plays a coaching and mentoring role for others; may assist in team management as necessary, although has no formal people management responsibility.

Supervision Given/Received:

  • Has no supervisory responsibility.
  • Provides suggestions on business and operational decisions that affect the department.
  • Receives instructions on new assignments, but plans activities to complete task.
  • Typically reports to a Manager or Associate Director.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree or its International Equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information Systems or Related Field.

Experience:

  • Requires 3-5 years of hands-on experience in IT systems administration, modern workplace technology, or endpoint management.
  • Demonstrated experience administering Microsoft 365 services (Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Exchange Online) and Microsoft Intune for endpoint management across Windows, iOS, Android, and macOS.
  • Working experience with Microsoft Entra ID and PowerShell scripting to support identity, automation, and routine administration.
  • Broad endpoint and end-user technology troubleshooting experience, including Windows 11, macOS, mobile devices, printers, and conferencing technology.
  • Typically requires 3-5years of experience with server administration and networking functions.
  • Articulate, professional and able to communicate in a clear, positive manner with clients and staff.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English; fluent in host country language as appropriate.
  • Prior experience in a non-governmental organization (NGO) preferred.

Typical Physical Demands:

  • Typical office environment.
  • Ability to spend long hours looking at computer screen and doing repetitive work on a keyboard.
  • Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift/move up to 5 lbs.

Technology to be Used:

  • Personal Computer/Laptop, Microsoft applications (i.e., Office 365, SharePoint, Skype/Zoom/Teams), cell phone/mobile technology, and standard office equipment.

Travel Requirements:

  • Less than 10%

The expected hiring salary range for this role is indexed at USD 14,000 - 16,000 annually for gross salary (basic and allowances). When determining an offer amount, FHI 360 factors in multiple considerations, including but not limited to: relevant years of experience and education possessed by the applicant, internal equity, market pay, and budget.
