Job Summary
The People & Culture Associate provides operational support for core P&C functions for the US Government-funded STRengthening Infectious Disease DEtection Systems (STRIDES) project in Morocco. This includes recruitment coordination, onboarding, benefits administration, employee data management, and policy compliance monitoring. The role involves independent work and requires initiative to address standard employee needs while ensuring alignment with FHI 360 policies and Moroccan labor laws. **This position will work out of the STRIDES office in Rabat, Morocco.
Accountabilities
- Coordinates end-to-end recruitment support, including vacancy postings, candidate screening, interview scheduling, and reference checks.
- Maintains and updates HRIS data, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Supports country performance management processes, including goal-setting and reviews.
- Supports payroll and benefits processing and liaises with vendors as needed.
- Supports employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Provides first-line response to employee questions regarding P&C policies and benefits.
- Assists with compliance reporting and documentation for audits.
- Performs other related duties/ responsibilities as may be assigned.

- Working knowledge of P&C procedures and employment regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
Problem Solving & Impact
- Resolves routine P&C issues independently, escalating complex matters.
- Contributes to the efficiency and accuracy of P&C services.
Supervision Given/Received
- Could report to local P&C Officer, Senior P&C Officer, P&C Manager, Senior P&C Manager, or Regional Level People & Culture Partner (depending on size and complexity of country office portfolio).
- Works independently on routine tasks with occasional supervision.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field preferred.
- 3 years of P&C experience, preferably in an INGO or similar environment.
- Experience supporting US Government-funded contracts and an understanding of applicable rules and regulations strongly preferred.
- Written and spoken professional proficiency in English required.
Travel Requirements
- Occasional travel within the country.
