Amnesty International Indonesia is seeking a dedicated Activism and Resources Coordinator to lead the development and implementation of activism and supporter engagement initiatives across Indonesia. The role focuses on strengthening supporter growth and retention, enhancing digital engagement, and developing resources that support Amnesty's campaigns, human rights education, and community organising programmes.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Activism and Resources Coordinator plays a key role in coordinating activism initiatives and supporter engagement systems that enable effective mobilisation and sustained participation in Amnesty International Indonesia's campaigns.
The role involves coordinating the delivery of agreed activism strategies , as defined by the CEG Manager, and to support their implementation through clearly defined digital, volunteer, and resource workflows that grow, engage and retain Amnesty International Indonesia's supporter base, and coordinate the development and implementation of support infrastructures and resources for AI Indonesia human rights education and community organizing program
JOB PURPOSE
Through close collaboration with colleagues and partners, the Activism and Resources Coordinator develops and implements integrated activism and supporter engagement strategies that strengthen participation in Amnesty International Indonesia's campaigns and programmes. The role ensures that engagement initiatives, communication channels, and supporter infrastructures are effectively managed, monitored, and continuously improved in line with organisational priorities.
The position also contributes to building organisational capacity by developing tools and resources that support activism and human rights education, while ensuring accurate monitoring, evaluation, and reporting of programme outcomes.
ABOUT YOU
- You have relevant experience in developing and implementing activism, engagement, or programme initiatives, and have worked with supporters, volunteers, or communities in delivering campaigns or activities. You have experience coordinating teams, managing engagement activities, or supporting programme delivery.
- You are comfortable managing multiple priorities and systems simultaneously and are able to translate ideas into practical actions that deliver results. You have strong communication and organisational skills and are confident working with digital platforms, communication tools, or databases to support engagement and programme delivery.
- You have experience guiding or supporting volunteers, interns, or team members, and are able to foster collaboration across different stakeholders. You are proactive, detail-oriented, and able to monitor progress, evaluate outcomes, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- You have several years of relevant professional experience, ideally around four years, in activism, community engagement, programme management, or related fields.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia is required. You are comfortable handling administrative and coordination responsibilities, including managing documentation, preparing reports, and supporting programme implementation.
