This role requires a deep understanding of digital platforms and audience insights to refine outreach across these ‘always on’ channels. With a focus on innovative storytelling and cross-channel alignment, this role will be responsible for meeting the evolving needs of our diverse global audience to drive engagement. This position will collaborate closely with tech and program teams, partner with their counterpart leading Acumen’s digital marketing efforts, and report to the Chief Marketing and Communications Officer.

About Marketing and Communications
The Marketing and Communications team are the guides and stewards of our brand voice. They shape how, when and where it comes to life. As strategists, writers, designers, data practitioners and makers, they seek effective and creative ways to inform, empower and meaningfully connect with our audiences globally. Through audience definition, campaign strategies, content, PR, events and partnerships they drive visibility and memorability of our thought leadership, insights and brand story.
Responsibilities:
Leading the ‘always on’ marketing channels for Acumen Academy including:
- Work with leadership to prioritize and position products and programs to be elevated with strategic and comprehensive cross-channel marketing campaigns
- Monitor and analyze the impact of marketing campaigns using Hubspot and GA4 analytics and adjust strategies as needed.
- Monitor and guide agency partners as needed to maximize effectiveness, such as our Google ads grant manager
- Manage project timelines and collaborate with teams (UX, Story Studio etc)
- Work closely with dev teams on any optimizations and new features for the website.
- Provide testing plans for new learning resource products and summarize findings
Experience & Skills:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience
- Expert on Hubspot for email for contact list management, website/blog
- CMS managements (Contentful, Hubspot)
- Ability to get up to speed on new platforms
- Ability to navigate data in Salesforce and also set up and/or manage new marketing-focused analytics systems as required (Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Hotjar, and similar)
- Experienced with platforms used to plan, execute (such as Airtable, Form Assembly, Zoom, WebinarJam, Padlet, and similar)
- Familiarity with SEO best practices, including keyword research and content strategy (and use of AI platforms for expediting content planning and/or repurposing)
- Preferred : Based in New York City
- Authorized to work in the US
